BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 Tires

The Mud-Terrain KM3 Tires from BF Goodrich are UTV-specific tires crafted with the company’s long history of wining off-road tire expertise. Repping more buzzwords than a checkout aisle gossip rag, the Mud-Terrain KM3 Tires are a “tour de force” of BFG’s technical knowhow. 

When it comes to performance, the Mud-Terrain KM3s are designed for grip in mud and loose soil. The “Terrain-Attack” tread design uses large, rigid tread lugs that are positioned to achieve traction at any angle of approach. Paired with these reinforced lugs are mud phobic bars that help the tire shed compacted mud for continued traction. BFG formulates the softer “Built to Climb” rubber compound specifically for UTV applications – making grip over rock and slick surfaces a top priority. 

Harnessing all this tech is eight ply radial construction. Thick, extended shoulder treads wrap the area where the tread face meets the sidewall, helping the tire resist splitting and bruising. BF Goodrich calls this feature the “Traction-Armor Sidewall”, which reduces overall sidewall failures while boosting traction and also adding to the KM3’s aggressive look. Finally, “Linear Flex Zone Technology” creates synergy between tire tread and sidewall –  allowing massive tire flexibility to envelope objects when aired to low PSI in extreme conditions.
