The Garmin PowerSwitch is a Bluetooth-controlled, compact digital switchbox that offers centralized control of your vehicle’s 12-volt accessories. The unit can be managed wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled smart device or compatible Garmin navigator (Overlander, RV1090, RV 890 or Tread). The PowerSwitch controls auxiliary lighting, LED light bars, horns, air compressors, differential locks and more via six switch outputs of 30 amps each (four circuits with Bluetooth functionality). Installation is a simple with no cutting required into dashboards or interference with your vehicle’s factory electronics, and the rugged switch box is IPX7 weather resistant. Through the PowerSwitch app, users can tailor the on-screen switch panel with customizable labels, icons and light patterns/sequences.
The App
Use the Garmin PowerSwitch app on your compatible Garmin navigator or smartphone to control accessories from your touchscreen. Bluetooth wireless connectivity programs and operates up to four accessory circuits (six circuits total).
Install Made Simple
Hassle-free installation lets you connect up to six accessories to one Garmin PowerSwitch box. The compact 5” x 3” x 1” form factor gives you plenty of flexible mounting options on all types of vehicles, ranging from side-by-sides, UTVs and ATVs to off-roading 4x4s and snowmobiles. Create custom virtual switch panels with labels, icons and channel groups on the display as well as controls for dimming and flashing of lighting systems.
Inputs
The PowerSwitch includes two control inputs that detect a signal from 3.3 to 18 volts that can be used to turn on the customizable outputs. For example, you can connect your vehicle ignition switch to a control input terminal to turn on accessories automatically each time you start your vehicle.
